  • As a campus outreach volunteer, you will help identify and coordinate (in conjunction with organizers) outreach events and activities including; attending fairs and community events, tabling booths, networking meetings and more to help connect the community with ANWO campaigns.
    1-3 hours a week
  • This volunteer opportunity requires candidates to be able to perform duties that include
    • Manage the organization’s presence on social media platforms,
    • Develop and publish press releases and other promotional content, improve readership performance through partnerships, syndication, and newsletter
    1-3 hours a week
  • Digital Content Designer, you will collaborate with team members to create graphics including illustrations, logos, layouts, and photos. Your graphics should capture the attention of those who see them and effectively communicate our message.
    1-3 hours a week
  • This role will be responsible for e-commerce efforts including uploading and modifying product information, creating email campaigns, monitoring, conversion rate and performance improvement initiatives
    1-3 hours a week
  • Seeking an enthusiastic detail-oriented individual who will help research and document family and child services laws in different states.
    1-3 hours a week
  • Looking for a volunteer to help create an event-based fundraising strategy, craft an implementation plan, and help with ongoing efforts for a national march in May 2022.
    1-3 hours a week
  • Co-Design and update website for upcoming mobilization in May 2022
    1-3 hours a week

The African National Women’s Organization (ANWO) is a volunteer led,  revolutionary membership organization whose mission is to bring African women into revolutionary political life and to empower African women economically, socially, and politically. We forward the interests of African people internationally through our programs aimed particularly at the advancement of African women as a means to liberate African women and men from the customs and practices that serve to keep us subjugated.
